Learning and Fun

We believe that all children and young people should have the support and opportunities that they need to reach their full potential.

RASCALS provides a well planned fun day full of activities, topics and outings for children from birth to 13 years.

In the nursery you can expect your child to take part in activities which develop them socially, emotionally and physically. We encourage children to play at the same time as learning and progressing.

Activities that you can expect your child to take part in include:

COOKING:

All ages get the chance to roll the pastry and mix the mixture, make the sandwiches and taste their achievements

WET PLAY AND SAND PLAY:

Children love to get messy and make things in the sand. Children especially enjoy the wet play facilities that we have in our Ashington Nursery.

In the Out of schools you can expect your children to take part in activities that in include:

ART & CRAFT:

Experience messy play using a variety of materials

FOLLOW TOPICS SUCH AS:

Cultural Festivals, Safety, Under the Sea, Disney and enjoy developing activities and games from these.

TRIPS & OUTINGS:

During the holidays trips and outings are organised to suit the needs and ages of the children. They range from games and picnics on the beach to visits to local castles and museums.
