Partnering with Parents

Parents/Carers are the first educators of their children. At nursery our aim is to support you in this essential role as we work together to care for and educate your child.

Learning Journeys are used in our nursery so we can share in the development of your child.

Choosing the correct childcare is one of the most important decisions you will have to make. We will support you at every stage of your child’s development to ensure they receive the best possible start in life.

RASCALS is a Social Enterprise - a not for profit, community co-operative. We are owned by our membership of parents and employees for the benefit of the parents and children who use our services along with the local people whom we employ. All parent users are invited to become members of the RASCALS co-operative and have a say in how the organization is run.

In order that parents know exactly how RASCALS is run we have a comprehensive document containing our Policies and Procedures which can be obtained in the setting. This document contains policies on:
