Our Staff
Each setting is run by a team of
staff who are qualified and suitably experienced to meet the needs of
the children in their care. They are also CRB and have enhanced
disclosures which ensures the childrens safety.
Our commitment to our staff is
recognised by the gaining and retention of the Investors in People and
Positive about Disabled People awards
RASCALS exceeds the OFSTED
requirement of at least 50% staff to be qualified to Level III with the
vast majority of our staff holding at least a Level III childcare
qualification. All of our Managers hold a Level IV or above, or
are working towards that goal.
The following training courses are compulsory for all of our childcare staff:

- Fire Safety
- Manual Handling
- Child Protection
- Health and Safety

- Child Development 0 -3 years,

- SEN 1, 2 &3,
- Assertiveness,
- Developing Observation Skills,
- Thinking Skills
- Disability Equality Training.
Supervisory and Management staff receive tailored training designed to develop Management Skills and Team Building.
RASCALS provides a uniform to all
staff so they can be easily recognised by parents and visitors whether
in our setting or on outings.
